Taki Salameh, Young Composer

Taki is a bassoonist/composer who aspires to connect people together through music. Currently working with the National Arts Diversity Integration Association (NADIA), he is a member of the research team, researching various artists and organizations for NADIA. As a composer he has won the Merit award in the National YoungArts Competition. As a chamber musician he has made semifinals for the Fischoff and M-Prize international chamber music competitions. Taki currently is a junior at the Interlochen Arts Academy majoring in bassoon. He studies bassoon with Dr. Eric Stomberg and composition with Nick DiBeradino.
