Kevin Enstrom - Guitar
Kevin Enstrom has captivated audiences with his deep musicality and stunning tone. Originally from Ontario, Canada, Kevin has performed throughout the U.S., Canada, and Germany, playing works by Debussy, Bach, Rodrigo, Dyens and many more. Enstrom is a protégé of the American classical guitar virtuoso Christopher Parkening, who claimed that “Kevin Enstrom pours his soul into the music, playing with a robust sound and colorful pallet. He plays with a deep musicality and with such energy and excitement that he draws the audience in with each note.
As a teacher, Kevin fosters confidence in his students, encouraging them to discover their natural talent, and inspires them to play with excellence.”
Enstrom received his Bachelor’s of Arts degree from Pepperdine University studying under Christopher Parkening, and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Masters of Music from the University of Southern California, where he studied under Grammy winning guitarist, Scott Tennant. It was there that he and The Orpheo Guitar Quartet were awarded the “Outstanding Ensemble Award” from the Thornton School of Music. He has studied and taken master classes from guitarists Angel Romero, Pepe Romero, Jason Vieaux, Andrew York and many others.
Outside of live performances, his love of many styles has given him the opportunity to record with artists both major and independent. Some of his musical contributions can been heard on films, “Mystery of Her” (2022), Confession (2022) the 2016 Los Angeles Film Festival, on VH1, Waimea Ocean Film festival, Washington West Film festival, and most notably Google’s VR video series “Immerse 360”.
Kevin is currently on faculty (as of 2016) as an adjunct Professor at Pepperdine University.
