Kaitlin Webster-Zuber, Young Composer

Kaitlin Webster-Zuber attends Mount Saint Mary’s University LA, where she is pursuing a degree in Piano Performance. She studies composition with Ian Krouse and has worked with Derrick Spiva and Juan Pablo Contreras. Kaitlin is a participant of Salastina’s Sounds Promising program as both a performer and composer (2018-present). During her time at Colburn, she studied piano, chamber, dance, music theory, and voice. Each year, as an Honors participant in Junior Chamber Music, Kaitlin was awarded national/international festival scholarships. Single-handedly, she established and implemented all student outreach efforts for the LA Branch Board of the JCM Student Service Alliance (2014-15). This work lead to co-founding Musical Traces with her sister Emily.
