Casey Weisman, Young Composer

Casey Weisman’s flair for composition was evident from a young age. After gravitating naturally towards the piano, he started lessons at five and enjoyed creating variations on the pieces he was given and short pieces of his own. This developed over time as he became more cognizant and passionate about this interest. Up until the past couple of years, with Casey beginning to write orchestral and chamber music, Casey has written many piano works. Casey does both composition and creative writing, and his works in each inspire each other. He is interested in pursuing both concert music and film scoring.
